Activities and Recreation at Rivervale
Here at Rivervale, we have a strong team of highly qualified nurses on site who work with our care team, all of whom have many levels of qualifications and experience.
We have a hairdresser who visits site at a minimum of once a week or when required, in addition to a chiropodist who visits our Home.
Our Residents avail of the services of a dietitian when required, and Sisters who come to us on a daily basis offering Holy communion. Musicians come to offer entertainment to our Residents in addition to our full time activities co-ordinator to help fill the days.

A wide variety of activities are run throughout the week within Rivervale Nursing Home.
As part of the admission process we assess everyone’s interest in relation to the activities available and can customise an activities schedule that meets the individuals need. We have an activities co-ordinator onsite who loves to keep everyone active and entertained, using their great experience in this area.
We do encourage, depending on needs and capabilities, our residents to attend community events, go on day trips with family etc. To facilitate independent living in as far as is possible.
